RETURNS

We offer an extended 60-day return period, which is double the industry standard. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please fill out a return or exchange form. You must return your item(s) within 60 days of the delivery date, with proof of purchase. Note that returns or exchanges are not accepted for custom orders or items that have been altered or installed.

We must receive the return within 60 days of delivery. After receiving your returned item, we will inspect it and issue an exchange or refund for the original purchase price minus applicable fees*. Any applicable taxes will also be refunded as per the relevant laws. Please note that delivery fees are generally non-refundable, except in cases of manufacturer defects or damage during transit.

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges of products that have been damaged or misused by the client and are not in as-new condition. This policy ensures that we can continue to offer high-quality products and services to all of our valued customers.

    *Manufacturing and Restocking Fees

    Every item at Vault Furniture is hand-crafted to order. Consequently, we must charge a manufacturing and restocking fee to help cover the costs associated with producing and delivering your one-of-a-kind product to you. Fees are a percentage of total item(s) price. Fees will be deducted from reimbursement

    • Standard Shelf Brackets -  15%
    • Standard Home Accessories - 15%
    • Standard Wood Shelf Units - 30%
    • Standard Furniture - 30%

       

      How to Return

      • Fill out a Return Request Form: If you would like to Request a Return, click here.
      • You can request a discounted return label on the form above, if you return request is approved.
      • If your return request is approved, your items should be wrapped up tightly so there's no movement in the package. If there is a little movement in the package, the items will hit together in transit, resulting in a lot of loss in value. You will be responsible for this loss in value and it will be shown in the amount refunded to you.

      How you will be refunded

      • Your account will be refunded within 2–5 days of receipt of your item.
      • The amount refunded to your account will be the original amount minus the manufacturing/restocking fee and discounted shipping label, as described above. Less will be refunded to your account if the return arrives to us in a damaged/poor condition.  
      • We do not reimburse shipping costs 
      • Important: We will need to receive your return within 60 days of original delivery. If it arrives after 60 days, or includes custom items, your package will be rerouted back to you.

      * If you would like to return your order- do not refuse the package. The carrier will charge top dollar for return shipping if you refuse the package. The buyer will then be responsible for these shipping costs. Instead, go to this link to request a discounted return shipping label and start your return: Click here to request.

       

      EXCHANGES

      • 60 Day exchange policy
      • To request an exchange, click here.
      • Altered or installed merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged.
      • Standard brackets, home accessories, and furniture returns and exchanges are allowed within 60 days of delivery confirmation
      •  Custom items are not eligible for exchange or return.
      • In order to expedite exchange process, please fill out the exchange form.
      • Once your exchange is approved, checkout with the new product and we will get it into production as soon as possible. 
      • Next, carefully package up your return and send to our warehouse. You can request a discounted, pre-paid shipping label on the exchange form.

      • If we receive your return within our 60-day return window: we will inspect the return and refund your account for the original amount - 10% production/shipping fee.
      • Custom items will not be accepted for return or exchange.

      For all returns, please insure your package to ensure safe delivery. If you wish to exchange your item, please be aware that a production/shipping fee of 10% (or more for wood shelves) will be deducted from the original amount refunded to your account. Additionally, if the return arrives in poor condition or damaged, a reduced amount will be refunded. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

      Your refund will be processed within 2-5 days upon receipt of the item.

       

      DAMAGED ITEMS

      We take great care in our professional packaging methods to ensure smooth shipping. In the rare occasion that your package arrives in poor condition, all we ask is that you follow the procedure below so we can help you ASAP. Damage claims must be made within 72 hours of the delivery date. We are committed to resolving the issue to your satisfaction through expert product repair, replacement of parts, or exchange. Please note that we require proof of damage to both the box and items through pictures.

      Take pictures of everything that was damaged, including the box it came in, and email us at info@vaultfurniture.com within 72 hours of the delivery date, no exceptions.* If more than one thing was damaged, send us clear pictures of each damaged product. Important: one of our design consultants may ask for more pictures in order to resolve this, if the first pictures were not clear enough.

      *Vault Furniture reserves the right to refuse to service any claims for items that arrived damaged but were reported to us more than 72hrs after the delivery date. If you are unable to look over your package within this time period, you must notify us before it has passed.

       

       CANCELLATIONS

      As each order is handmade specifically for you, we have limited flexibility when it comes to providing a 100% refund for cancellations or modifications. To ensure that your request is valid, please submit all cancellation correspondence via email. info@vaultfurniture.com

      • You have 72 hours to cancel your order
      • If you ordered over 72 hours ago, you will be charged a manufacturing fee.
        • 10% manufacturing fee on home accessories 
        •  20% manufacturing fee on shelf brackets, shelving units or furniture

      We kindly request that you wait for a confirmation email stating that your order has been cancelled before placing another order

      For custom order items, a non-refundable 50% deposit will be taken when the order is placed. If you choose to cancel your special order item(s) prior to delivery, your 50% deposit will not be refunded.
